Foodie: Pike Place Market

It is said that Pike Place Market’s fish vendors are the happiest workers in Seattle. I believe them. We ordered up Dungeness crab and Steelhead salmon to take home and cook a feast. Both sea creatures only found in the Seattle area, and in season, what a treat! We ate in The Aleutian that looks over the bay and my mom had a crab cake eggs benny- perhaps the best culinary invention ever. If you are in Seattle even in the dead of dreary rainy Seattle winter you will find the market anything but dead. Full of good food and fine craft and not so fine craft, bustling with people and living up to its reputation!
